Reminder: This is not an exploit, glitch or bug, therefore you will never get VAC banned.

All you need is a nametag, purchasable from CS:GO or the community market.

You must be wondering, how do I rename my C4 if it's not even in my inventory? Well screw you because I haven't even started the tutorial yet.

Firstly, go to your CSGO installation folder, which should be in "Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive" or wherever you told Steam to download CSGO.

Then, go to "csgo\scripts\items" and look for "items_game.txt"

Open that up with your text editor and search the keyword "C4" until you find "item_slot" with "c4" next to it.

Rename the "C4" part to "melee" (without quotation marks) and save the file.

Head on to CS:GO and check your inventory, your C4 should be there. (Uncheck "Hide Default Items" if you don't)

Apply your nametag on the C4 to anything you want, I really don't care.

Go back to "items_game.txt" and rename "melee" back to "c4" so you can join servers again. Your C4 should still be in your inventory if you have already renamed it, if not, it will simply disappear.

Voila! Confuse the retarded CT's with your cleverly named C4. When the C4 is dropped or planted, when anyone looks directly at it and it should reveal the name of the C4. Screw with the 10 year old silvers. You can even showcase the renamed C4 when you are Steam level 10 or higher. The name of the C4 will also be bolted on the C4 when you hold it. (Could be a sign of C4 skins in the near future)
